My name is Suzanne Page and I live in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. I am a member of the Mistawaisi band of Leask Saskatchewan. I am employed as a pottery instructor and technician.

For me, the art of teaching is less about instructing and more about offering guidance. Whether young or old, I love witnessing my students' first encounters with clay, as they discover, grow and learn to express their creativity. Watching them develop a new found confidence with clay is like experiencing a child's first steps - and being able to assist during this creative process is an incredibly joyful and rewarding experience.

Form and function are secondary in my work with clay. I use the clay surface to explore and express emotion through colour and design. Clay and the use of glazes and underglazes offer me an environment to explore and discover various aspects of myself.
