In 2004, I bought a nice house in Southwest Portland and painted the door orange. This little house with the orange door is a source of pride, creativity, inspiration and my slice of heaven. I’ve been in sales and marketing for 30 years, and earn my clients’ respect by building a relationship based on trust and hard work. If you can’t already tell, I’m a very proud homeowner, and I love looking at houses. I love to say “there’s a house for everybody.” And I know that together, we can find the home that’s perfect for you. If you let me manage the process for you, you can have a home buying experience that’s efficient and rewarding.

Here’s what to expect when you’re shopping for a new home:

  • We’ll meet and discuss how you live and how your home best fits your lifestyle.
  • You’ll need to get your financing process started and get pre-approved for your loan.
  • We’ll set up some property searches from my website, and start looking at homes that seem to fit your criteria.  It might take looking at many or just a few, but we’ll find it!
  • When we’ve found your new home, we’ll submit an offer and negotiate a deal.
  • We’ll order the inspections for the home right away, and start our transaction, which should take just over a month.

For most of us, our home is one of our biggest investments. And it goes without saying, that we want the greatest return possible from this investment. I will create a plan to ensure you make the most of your asset.

Here’s a brief overview of the process to sell your home:

  • We’ll meet, tour your home, and then I will prepare an analysis for you to help you determine the sale price of your home. Together we will create a “to do” list that will ensure we show your home at its best, including repairs and maintenance as well as the attractive staging of the home.
  • I will implement a consumer focused marketing plan that gives your home maximum exposure to prospective buyers.
  • Immediately after listing your home, I will host an Open House that weekend, generating interest in it so we get the best exposure to neighbors and hopefully your buyers.  And being flexible with Brokers’ requests to show your home creates maximum potential buyer traffic.
  • After we secure and negotiate an offer that meets your goals, I’ll facilitate a smooth transaction for you through the closing process.  There’s plenty of anxiety along the way with inspections and appraisals and packing your home, but I’ll do my best to make it less stressful for you and your family.
  • I’ll be there at the signing table, as you close this transaction and move on to your life’s next adventure.

I love it here, and wouldn’t want to live anywhere else. I’ve had the great opportunity to travel the world, and find that no matter where you’re from, the water always tastes better, the grass is always greener and the people are always friendlier at home. And home for me is Portland.

Portland is a beautiful city: vibrant, eclectic and full of opportunity! Sure it rains here, but I think the rain is Portland’s “secret sauce,” what makes it what it is. We enjoy the great outdoors all year here, in addition to the arts, sciences, great schools, amazing restaurants and sporting events just to name a few.
